“…narrator Yemi Sekoni … wowed us back in March during auditions and did the same in the studio. Yemi has a wonderfully distinctive voice that we adore, and she is a class act work with. She put up well with Dave's, Ben's and my shenanigans, and at the end of almost 2 1/2 hours, we had a thing of beauty.”

- G. Wayne Miller

(Write, Producer: “On the Lake; Life and Love in a Distant Place”)

”Remember this name – ‘Yemi’.

The minute she auditioned for the starring role of a domestic violence victim in my film…I knew I had my actress. Yemi never disappointed - she dug deep within the soul, found the character, and was remarkable in her performance. As you watch her in the film, you forget about Yemi, the person, and instead, you see 'Masedi', the character. She made it so raw and so real, that you could feel the pain and anguish. People watch this film and are moved to tears; that is great acting.

On top of her talent, Yemi showed dedication and hard work throughout the production. I would like the opportunity to work with her again before she demands ... million(s) of dollars per film!"

"Yemi (has) served CENTRA Talent with the utmost professionalism...as her stage presence is filled with glamour and awe."

-Giovanni Calise
(Executive Producer: CENTRATalent)

"Working with Yemi on 'Naughty or Nice,' was an absolute delight. She is a consummate professional...always working to add dimension to her character. In our movie, she had a lot of fun playing the villainous Olivia, and that really shows in her great performance. Yemi is a terrific actress and her future directors will be very lucky to have her!"

I admire Cirone for doing this supernatural tale old school…updating the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice to a modern setting.  Our protagonist…gets a chance to resurrect his lost love, but at a price that is unfortunately paid in a moment of carelessness.  A trio of strong performances sells the updated work, especially Yemi Sekoni as the mysterious, mirror-shaded figure "Aitch.”

"There is no actor or actress in my acquaintance that could have played the role of Aitch like Yemi did. The accent and

elocution certainly was part of it, but she added an air of mystery that I didn't even expect, and took the character in a completely new direction. She did a fantastic job.”

-Kevin Cirone
(Director: "Trust Fall")

"For both of the roles in which I cast Yemi, her characters needed to be strong, kind hearted and elegant. Yemi naturally exudes those qualities so casting her was a no brainier.

I now realize that I actually utilized less than half her potential but without complaint, she gracefully breathed life into what might otherwise have been two and a half dimensional characters. "

(Director: "Sade", "My Father")
